Question to visitors and watchers

Since a long time me and my friend are working on new steam punk RPG system. We’re collecting new ideas for monsters and other things. We spread new ideas in three groups: “normal” common creatures, industrial monsters created by people and mythical creatures than no one can believe in. Now we’re looking for inspirations. We want to make them very scary and give the GM possibility to create with them incredible terrifying adventures and game climate. So here is my question: what makes us (people) fear? What makes us feel aversion, disgust and everything that gives us Goosebumps? I know that we’re afraid of touch of thins that are filled/covered with something like maggots/spiders etc. (we’re scared of contact itself). We’re scared of presence of something that we cannot drive away. We’re afraid of thing that can enter ours mainstay of safety and we can’t resist it (for ensample vampires etc.). And of course we’re afraid of all the things that we don’t understand. Anything more? That’s our question.

Od pewnego czasu siedzę nad potworkami do naszego nowego systemu RPG. Siedzę i myślę i mało jest to produktywne. Wszystkim moim tworom brak tego czegoś, co ruszałoby najgłębiej osadzonymi w naszych głowach cierniami i powodowało takie dziwne odczucia. No mniej więcej strach lub/też obrzydzenie. Dlatego mam pytanie do odwiedzających moją stronkę, jak i tych, którzy mnie obserwują:
Co nas przeraża? Co powoduje w nas odrazę? Jakie mamy głęboko zakorzenione lęki? Co nas odpycha? I nie chodzi tu od potwory z krwi i kości, ale o najbardziej absurdalne, nieracjonalne, pozbawione jakiejkolwiek szansy na bytowanie w formie żyjącej itp. Czy przeraża nas, że coś co nas obrzydza wbije nam się pod skórę i tam się ukryje? Że coś nas pochłonie, przylepi się do nas, będzie ścigać, trawić na naszych oczach, a może coś, co ma wstę;p do naszych siedzib i nie możemy nic na to począć?
Za wszystkie komentarze i podpowiedzi byłbym niesamowicie wdzięczny! Jeśli możecie, macie pomysły - piszcie - wszystko może się przydać!

Well I use mostly English. But I'm not very happy because I'm not that good at it :/
Normaly I use Polish and sometimes (if useful) I use German.

Thanks for such a positive opinion!
I work only on traditional ways. Sometimes I use only Nero photo viewer to improve the contrast. That's all.
